Extra Credit is extremely rare in the CSMA Program; however, points are awarded in certain circumstances.  For sample, students are rewarded for joining & participating in the FBLA, reporting problems\typos in the activities, helping with class objectives, and doing other tasks that might be above & beyond what would be typically expected.  In no way should students expect any type of an opportunity to earn extra credit as these opportunities are rare & relatively spontaneous.  For that reason, extra credit is only worth 1% of the overall grade & all students begin with a grade of 100 to ensure no student's grade could be impacted negatively.
